Exploring the NCLC Career Fair with James Martin Associates
The National Collegiate Landscape Competition (NCLC) is one of the industry's largest career and internship fairs. The NALP NCLC hosts over 600 students from 50 unique colleges and universities where companies like James Martin Associates, can find the industry’s future leaders.
This annual event took place at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. As representatives of our company, we eagerly anticipate connecting with individuals at this large event who possess creativity, innovation, and a profound dedication to transforming outdoor environments.
Engaging with Future Innovators:
Participating in the career fair enables us to engage with students from diverse academic backgrounds, ranging from landscape architecture to horticulture and environmental science.
Attending NCLC and interacting with students through one-on-one sessions, workshops, and competitions, we aim to inspire the next generation of landscape professionals to join our team.
Showcasing our Company Culture:
The NCLC career fair provides us with a platform to showcase just that. We always welcome interns and people seeking to grow in their careers. At our booth, students were able to learn about our program's success and how three senior-level Associates were once in their shoes.
Discover more about our careers and learn first-hand about our various intern roles/opportunities on our website.
A Commitment to Mentorship and Development:
At James Martin Associates, we are dedicated to promoting the growth and development of students who are interested in pursuing a long-term career in the green industry.
We demonstrate our commitment by providing a range of scholarships and internships that pave the way for permanent employment. With us, you can explore career paths from landscape architecture to finance, marketing, and human resources. We are confident we can provide you with the opportunities you need to find your perfect fit.
Our team at James Martin Associates and LID Landscapes were glad to be part of such an amazing event that allowed us to network with students from across the nation. We look forward to next year’s event. For more information on the NALP NCLC visit their website.
