The National Collegiate Landscape Competition (NCLC) is one of the industry's largest career and internship fairs. The NALP NCLC hosts over 600 students from 50 unique colleges and universities where companies like James Martin Associates, can find the industry’s future leaders.
This annual event took place at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. As representatives of our company, we eagerly anticipate connecting with individuals at this large event who possess creativity, innovation, and a profound dedication to transforming outdoor environments.

Participating in the career fair enables us to engage with students from diverse academic backgrounds, ranging from landscape architecture to horticulture and environmental science.
Attending NCLC and interacting with students through one-on-one sessions, workshops, and competitions, we aim to inspire the next generation of landscape professionals to join our team.

Emily started working in the Landscape Industry at a young age spending summers working at James Martin Associates during high school and college. Whether she was working in the office supporting the Finance, Marketing & Accounting Teams, or in the yard watering plants and supporting the Plant Purchasing Team Emily learned the various aspects of the business. Emily has been a familiar face at James Martin Associates for 20+ years. In 2016 Emily began working on the Marketing & Communications team at James Martin Associates assuming the role of Marketing Director in 2019. Emily is responsible for all Communications & Marketing efforts for James Martin Associates, LID Landscapes & Schwake Stone.
